Transformation of micole.design to lumenne-essence.com

In 2023, after a 20 year hiatus in graphic design, I decided to take a leap from working full-time in pharmacy retail management to a full-time student. An intense full-time UX/UI bootcamp with the University of Texas, Austin set me up for a successful transition.  

Initially, my goal was to get in on the ground floor of a great company as a junior UX/UI Designer and work my way through to the top of the chain as I had in every job I've ever held. So, I ventured off to create a portfolio website. It was my first attempt and I was on a tight turnaround. Although it uses cookie cutter styles that are proven to work, I felt it had much room for my creative improvement, but I had to set aside my perfectionist ideals. It still held a true gathering of work I had completed using the fundamentals the industry looked for, so I was content for now.

The name Lumenne Essence came to me a few years prior to returning to school. I received this during a meditative float therapy session which resulted in such an emotional moment of connection for me. 

Hearing it, feeling it and saying it aloud resonated like music to my ears awakening every sense of my being into a ball of light and love. It was a feeling like no other and I can only correlate it to a "remembering" of sorts. 

At the time, I had no idea what it would morph into within my life, but I knew it came from my higher self, as a soul aligned name. I believe still, that it has so much room to grow into its full meaning in my current life's journey. I am excited to watch it come alive as I begin to play, create and express!

The domain was purchased with a vision in mind. A vision of heart centered services I could provide for those who seek out authentic connections. Whether it be a visual representation (logo and branding) of their own small business making connections with their ideal clients, or a gentle connection of guidance from me assisting them through their own life journey. It could simply be their connection to a piece of art I've created or the book I am currently writing.

I see it as a means of putting my own multi-passionate energies into one place, whether it be my love of writing short stories and taking photographs, to my quirky knack of chalk drawings, calligraphy, energy work and dance. 

All that to say, lumenne_essence.com spans quite the gamut of opportunities, but I'm choosing to focus on one space at a time... creative design.

I am a Spectra™ Attuned Practioner.

I heard about Reiki in the early 2000's when I worked for a woman who was a practitioner. I was curious about Reiki as a young adult, but in all honesty I had no real idea what that meant. I understood it to be healing energy, but it never resonated with me enough to try it.

In 2018, a synchronicity led me to Motherella. She was a renowned psychic medium, spiritual teacher and author, whom I had begun following on social-media. As a doctor of natural health, she had a regular guest on her podcast that her tribe had affectionately come to be known as Walker. I learned then, that he created a different method for energy healing called Spectra™. Having an affinity for colors as an artist, and a curiosity about quantum energy already, I was immediately drawn in. Instantly, the hair on my arms stood straight up as chills went down my spine. I knew I was meant to learn it, but at the time that was not an option that was available. 

Once it did become available I purchased the course, but it was a few years before I was in full alignment to complete it. I continued to do the inner work and healing. In 2021 Walker walked me through the Quantum Soul Retrieval session. Connecting with my inner child was life changing! In 2023 Walker walked me through a (Limited Edition) Spectra™ II (SuperNova) and Spectra™ III (Angelic Trinity Harmonic) combined healing session. Each session focused on core development as my healing progressed through additional breakthroughs I needed to complete. In 2025, I was finally able to push through to my final breakthrough and was in full alignment for my attunement.

My goal is to eventually offer 1:1 Spectra™ Healing sessions. For now, I practice it personally and infuse its energy into my design work, channeling love and healing from the quantum field at zero point. This energy gently weaves into each creative endeavor I focus on, offering support whenever the viewing soul feels ready to receive it. The designs become a quiet magnet, drawing in those who are meant to find them.
